It’s an hybrid variety obtained by crossing Vitis Lambrusca x Vitis riparia. Imported to Europe between the late 1800s and early 1900s, it spread mainly in Northern Italy where it is also called "Grinta", but also sporadically throughout the Apennine ridge.
Interesting and beautiful variety produced in Hungary, early maturation makes it suitable in areas with harsh climate and cold.
